José María Aznar has given an interview to the newspapers of the Editorial Prensa Ibérica in which he assures that "Spain lives without a doubt the worst situation in the last forty years" and that "just as we have to do in order to defeat terrorism, it is necessary to disarticulate the separatists".
Before speaking at the Club Diario de Mallorca, Aznar spoke, among other things, about Catalonia - "if thieves break in your house, do you negotiate with them? If you are given a coup d’état, you have nothing to talk about, you have to dismantle it. When they say to you, 'I want to break the constitutional order, I want to break Spain and I want to decree secession unilaterally', there is nothing to negotiate ", about Pablo Casado - "without a doubt much better than Aznar was, a young leader with exceptional qualities"-, and the situation of PSOE - "Sánchez is doing it worse than Zapatero, which was practically impossible. The current PSOE is not a constitutional force”-.
The interview has been published by all the newspapers of Grupo Prensa Ibérica: Diario de Mallorca, Diari de Girona, Diario de Ibiza, Faro de Vigo, La Nueva España, Diario Información, La Opinión A Coruña, La Opinión de Málaga, La Opinión de Murcia, La Opinión de Tenerife, La Opinión de Zamora, La Provincia - Diario de Las Palmas, Levante-EMV.
